DVDs
There are several types of DVD available, -R has the best compatability, +R has more features but lower compatability. Both of these come in 2 sizes, 4.7Gb and 8.5Gb. Most can be recorded up to 16xspeed. DVD's use the same packaging as CD's

DVD-R

Branded e.g. Verbatim in a case 1 off 48p, 10 off 46p
Unbranded spindle 50 off £16, 100 off £30

DVD+R

Branded in a case 1 off 56p, 10 off 54p
Unbranded spindle 50 off £16, 100 off £30

DUAL LAYER DVD

Dual layer DVD's allow 8.5Gb of data to be recorded on a single disc.
They are not yet widely supported by writers.

Verbatim cased DVD-R 1 off £2.85

ReWritableDVD

Rewritable DVD's can be written & erased many times, but not recommended for long term data storage.
